Sometime last year, I was having a chat with a friend of a friend who manages two IG accounts with > 2 million followers. I’d always wondered how they created those video that comprised of a screenshot of a tweet stitched somehow to the video in the tweet, like this.

As it turned out, it was a super cumbersome process.

After seeing this, I just knew that it didn’t have to be this difficult. So last week, I set out to find a neat way to automate it.

With the Quoted Replies app, you can now download tweets + the videos all stitched together at the click of a button (as shown below)

It’s currently only available on Android but a brand new iOS app is in the works. So, stay tuned!
